Empolvados means dusty or powdery cuz is dusted with confectionery sugar........ it's a kind of a sponge cookie and looks like a macaroon....in the middle has dulce de leche (:

Note: i don't like to much the photo cuz i try always to take good pictures.....but my lessons are in the night and we don't have good ligth in the classroom hehehe ^^; Sorry

Yay! Submission of the day! OK, you're right that it looks like macarons ;) but it looks really sweet. The foto is alright at least you're focusing on the main thing the one in the forground. Try to centralise your subject as I noticed the rest of your stuff had been cut off (the left handside was unnecessary). I assumed it is due to the shadow which you were trying to avoid perhaps? Next time find the lighting...and try to not block the lighting direction which means that you have to move your body in every direction to see if you got a good lighting and angle ;)

Anyway, I'm not a professional photographer but this is just something which I have in mind. Good luck with it but you did well...it looks delicious and I want to have a bite out of it!

You don't need a professional cam to snap good quality foto's. I don't own any professional cam...just stick to the one that you know it is good enough. Mine...is just 5 megapix and I still use it. The foto's you see...they're all from it. I do use my dad's which is 8 megapix still nice foto's.

I don't see the need for an expensive cam in order to get good results. I think first you just need to know how to focus on a subject and such then you can move on for those kind of cam. ;)

hmm looks tasty, I always learned that you have to use no even decoration... (3 leaves instead of one...) either way, I still think they look awesome and I want to make them too xD
